AI Training Modules for Inclusive Disability Supportne

As part of the project Enhancing Abilities with AI: Professional Training for Inclusive Disability Support, our consortium is currently developing the first major output: a set of innovative training modules that introduce artificial intelligence (AI) into the fields of education, rehabilitation, and inclusive support.

These modules are being co-created through a collaborative process that draws on the diverse strengths and priorities of all four partner organizations. Each module reflects specific needs identified through research and field experience in working with individuals with disabilities, migrants, and adults with low digital literacy.

The development is structured around four core components:

Mindfulness-Integrated AI Applications
Ondamind APS (Italy) is developing content that combines AI tools with mindfulness practices, enhancing not only digital competencies but also emotional well-being and resilience among educators and learners.

AI for Personalized Rehabilitation and Education
Developed by the Society of Special Education and Rehabilitation Therapists (Serbia), this module focuses on how AI can be used to support personalized learning and therapy planning for people with disabilities. It addresses a widespread lack of digital confidence among therapists and educators.

Practical AI Tools for Educators
GBA UG (Germany) is contributing their expertise in digital transformation by designing training on the use of AI-based tools for assessment, progress monitoring, and personalized instruction in educational and vocational settings.

Culturally Responsive AI Content
Artika Yaratıcı Sanatlar Derneği (Turkey) is working on strategies for adapting AI-generated content to the needs of marginalized groups, especially youth, migrants, and refugees. Their goal is to ensure that AI tools support inclusion rather than reinforce existing barriers.
