At the AAATE 2025 Conference, that will be held in Nicosia, Cyprus, 10–12 September 2025, a special section will be dedicated to presentations from national contacts, where each country reported on recent progress in the field of assistive technology. In this context, the National Contact of Serbia presented the AI2Empower project (Enhancing Abilities with AI: Professional Training for Inclusive Disability Support) as a significant initiative coordinated by Serbian institutions. The project highlights the role of AI in empowering persons with disabilities through professional training, open-access resources, and innovative applications in education and rehabilitation, marking an important contribution to the development of assistive technology in Serbia.
