The Training of Trainers will be held from 26 to 28 January 2026 in Akşehir, Turkey, and will involve more than 20 trainers and professionals from partner organizations in Serbia, Italy, Turkey, and Germany.
The three-day agenda is designed to provide trainers with a structured and comprehensive overview of the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in inclusive education, rehabilitation, therapy, and professional support for persons with disabilities, combining theoretical knowledge, practical frameworks, and reflective approaches.
Training Agenda Highlights
On Day 1, the training will begin with partner introductions and a presentation of the AI2Empower project, including the roles of trainers and learning objectives. Participants will be introduced to the modular training guide and the project publication “Empowering Inclusive Support with AI”. The agenda then continues with Module 1, focusing on Artificial Intelligence in inclusive education and therapy, early intervention, employment of persons with disabilities, as well as ethics, safety, and accessibility in the use of AI. The day will conclude with evaluation activities and a closed meeting of partner organizations dedicated to reviewing and adapting training materials.
Day 2 will be dedicated to Artificial Intelligence and Mindfulness, with sessions addressing digital awareness, emotional regulation, attention and learning processes, and ethical challenges related to AI, including bias and inclusive innovation. Experiential mindfulness practices will support trainers in developing critical digital awareness and responsible professional practice.
On Day 3, the agenda will focus on culturally responsive AI-assisted education and a practical framework for developing AI-based training for professionals working with people with disabilities. The sessions will cover AI tools supporting visual, hearing, cognitive, mobility, and communication needs, alongside best practices, case studies, expected outcomes, and evaluation and certification processes. The training will conclude with evaluation activities and a final coordination meeting of project partners.
Through this Training of Trainers, over 20 trainers will be prepared to further deliver high-quality, inclusive, and ethically grounded AI-based training within their institutions and national contexts.
